Mrs. Mugasha is a self employed acclaimed public administrator who has held many high level assignments in this field. Until May 2008 she was the Deputy Secretary General of the Common wealth secretariat since 2002.
Prior to this she was appointed Head of public Service and Secretary to Cabinet in the office of the President of Uganda. Mrs. Mugasha was the first Woman Head of Public Service in Uganda & Africa and she was instrumental in Spearheading Public Service Reforms.
In 2006 she was appointed the Chancellor of Uganda Management institute by President Yoweri Museveni. She has served on a number of boards including Uganda Aids Commission, the African Association of Public Administration & Management, (AAPAM) and Commonwealth Association of Public Administration & Management (CAPAM). Currently, she is a Director of Hillside Nursery & Primary School. She brings to the Board vast administration experience.
Mr. Olowude, an Economist, Chartered Insurer and International investor, with a rich inter-disciplinary background. He is the Vice Chairman of Industrial and General Insurance Company Limited (IGI) and the Chairman of National Insurance Corporation of Uganda (NIC)
Mr. Olowude holds a Master Degree in Economics and has completed the coursework for the award of a Doctorate Degree from the University of Santa Clara, California, USA.
He has deployed his international business expertise, professionalism and vision to build a conglomerate with interests in various business sectors spanning financial services, telecommunications, oil and gas, mortgage banking and aviation.
Mr. Fabode holds a Bsc. Honours Degree in Economics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He served in various capacities in the Federal Civil Service, ending his public service career as Assistant Director Finance and Accounts in 1989.
Thereafter he had a 12 – year stint in banking as Head of Treasury and later as Head of Internal Audit in Savannah Bank Plc and First City Merchant Bank Plc respectively. He is currently a Director and Special Assistant to the Executive Vice Chairman, IGI Plc in charge of International Business Development.
Is an accomplished economist currently working as a consultant in International Development Consultants. He has served on the boards of Uganda National Council of Science and Technology, Civil aviation authority and two times on the board of Bank of Uganda, the Central Bank and the regulator of all commercial banks and financial institutions in the tier II and III categories.
Professor Ochieng has been the Head of Department of Economics of Makerere University institution, Director Export policy Analysis and Development Unit and also Advisor to Secretary to the treasury Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development.
He brings economic and regulatory expertise to the Board of Global Trust Bank.
Morenikeji Adepoju has over twenty two (22) years of unbroken banking career, spanning three banks across Africa. She commenced banking in Nigerian Intercontinental Merchant Bank (Currently Intercontinental Bank), Commercial Trust Bank and Ecobank where she served for fifteen years. She worked in various capacities in English and French Speaking West African Country Banks from Treasury, Credit and Marketing, Branch Manager, Head of Consumer Bank and Cards Business, Head of Branch Network, and Regional Head of Retail Banking for the UMEOA Region. She was subsequently appointed Managing Director of Ecobank Liberia and then Executive Director of Ecobank Nigeria PLC, a position she served until her resignation to join Global Trust Bank.
Mrs Adepoju holds an MFA in Arts Management from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, USA, a Certificate in Advanced Management from Lagos Business School of the Pan African University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Dramatic Arts (Comb Hons.) from the University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria).
Morenikeji has attended many senior management training and development programmes organized by world class Institutions that has tremendously enhanced her performance and her leadership skills. Some of these institutions include Centre for Leadership Studies (Belgium), Harvard Business School (HBS) and Euromoney.
Mrs. Morenikeji Adepoju brings on board her varied banking experience in financial and managerial skills to complement and drive the Global Trust Bank brand towards greater heights in Uganda and East Africa region.
She is happily married to Mr. Aderoju Adepoju for over 28 years and still counting; the marriage is blessed with Children.
Segun has over 25 years experience in the Banking, Finance, Accounting and Consulting. He has worked in several positions up to the level of Assistant General Manager Treasury and Investment banking. He was with Equatorial Trust Bank and Devcom Merchant Bank as Assistant General Manager Treasury and Investment Banking, West African Portland Cement now Lafarge WAPCO cement Plc as Resident Financial Consultant, Ivy Building Society as Assistant General Manager Treasury and Investment Services and Acting Managing Director. He was at Victory Merchant Bank as Deputy Manager Treasury and Investment Banking and Citi Trust Merchant Bank Limited where he started his banking career as Officer Treasury and Investment Banking in 1988.
Prior to joining Global Trust Bank Segun was the CEO and Managing Consultant of Global Partners and Co, a consultancy firm that he founded in 1998. Segun has worked on several turn key financial projects in different business sectors in the 10 years of Global Partners covering due diligence and business valuation, project planning, business and financial modeling, funding procurement, turn around management and implementation support services. In the course of one of projects implementation assignments, Segun was appointed Chief Financial Officer of MTS First Wireless Limited, a Nigerian telecommunications company.
Segun is a holder of a B.Sc. Agricultural Economics from University of Ibadan where he graduated in 1983, he is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Alumnus, certificate holder of the International Housing Finance Program of Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, United States of America. He was at various times Treasurer of Money Market Association of Nigeria.
He is married and blessed with children. He brings to Global Trust Bank a wealth of technical and leadership expertise.
